First Giveaway!!!!

Today I am very excited to be giving away a spectacular book and a super useful herbal medicine for children.

The book by Lesley Tierra is a must have for your young herbal enthusiast. I use it practically every week with my little herbal mentor Tova Rose (who is now 10). The book contains stories, songs, interesting facts and plenty of great herbal crafts for kids. Because of this book I brush my teeth with cinnamon powder!

The Well-Child formula contains Echinacea and Elderberries - a great combination for young ones with a cold or flu.

Here's how this works. If you would like to win these two prizes you can enter your name in the drawing multiple times by doing one or more of the following things.

For EACH of the above things that you do, leave me a comment below. I'll enter your name in the hat for EACH comment you submit.

So, if you shared this post on Facebook, simply write that in the comment field and I'll add your name to the hat.

That means that you can enter your name up to 6 times!

I'll draw the name for the winner tomorrow morning and announce it here tomorrow.

Good luck!

I'd like to try more. I tried to keep notes but couldn't get everything.

I'd love to win any of the wonderful prized you are offering but most specifically the ebook for my daughter.

I'm not going to request one of your lovely (& timely!) seasonal gifts, even though the upcoming subscription to the e-zine has me drooling, because I was unable to attend yesterday's webinar, though I really tried to do so. But I will ask you to remember me, when your e-book is finished... That way I can enjoy the highlights of the webinar "second-hand", and at my leasure:) Please take your time with it; those jewels are always worth waiting for, and may (smile)end up as collector's items, some day!

We love the Kids And Herbs book, but ... our copy got water damaged and moldy during some moves. I'd love a new copy :-). Also, Elder and Echinacea are two herbs I love to use with my kids (where they will say 'yes' to their medicine :-).).

Thank you, Rosalee!

Guess what? I also am a friend of the EW Facebook page... I mean, where else can you join your fellow herbalists in crazy games like "guess this herb" ?

Ceinan said...

I have signed up for your newsletter, and shared it repeatedly with my friends on FB... so much good information and a generous soul. Love hearing also about your free/low-cost clinic. Something I am aspiring to, eventually.

Ceinan said...

And finally, I'd love this e-book because I have already purchased your previous one and enjoyed it. I also work often with many lower-income clients, with limited knowledge and understanding of herbs, as well as limited availability of diverse herbs. You seem to have assembled a list of more commonly-available herbs, some even of the type that can be wildcrafted in my area -which I have been slowly & safely introducing to people here- and I believe this would be an invaluable book to have in my loan-out library for educational purposes. =)

Ceinan said...

... and if I paid attention, I'd have noticed that today's book giveaway is for Leslie's... =D That's ok, all the reasons I gave in the previous one are good for this one as well. I'd love Leslie's book too.. I have most of Leslie's and Michael's books, but not this one. My bookshelf has an empty spot for it! =)

I would love to win these prizes (especially your new ebook b/c I had to work and missed your webinar)because I am an enthusiastic student at East West and am always looking at new sources of information. But b/c I am a single mom I can't always afford to buy stuff. I am building my library, apothecary and knowledge base with herbal remedies for kids. I also get a lot of other parents asking my advice. Thanks so much! I always value your work!!

I'm new to herbalism and would love to win anything that can help my family and myself on this journey into better health and healing!

The Dancing Herbalist said...

As an aspiring Herbalist I would love the opportunity to connect with the west coast family and learn from you so that I can pass your knowledge on to those in my areas. I am focusing my time now on working with children in my community through a local dance center and through the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland. A copy of Kids Herb book would allow me to better bring herbs into the lives of the children I am working with in addition to the nutrition they are currently learning about. Thank you very much for the webinar last night. It was a first for me and I look forward to hearing more from you in the future.
